Spotlight: Signs of improvement when fifth at Down Royal (1m3f, good) and duly won four days ago at Bellewstown (1m, soft to heavy) when in first-time cheekpieces under Reese Holohan; penalised accordingly, but he was good value for that narrow margin as he was clear at one point; not drawn well but clearly a contender.

Spotlight: Eight-race maiden who has threatened and suffered some interference when fifth of 14 at Clonmel last time (behind Ochtar Againn); has a race in him off this mark.

Spotlight: Narrowly denied at Gowran (1m, yielding) last month and was a closer last time at Punchestown; should run well.

Spotlight: Exposed multiple winner; has been in good form this season and dropping back from 1m2f won't hurt; 10lb claiming rider is very light on experience under rules, but regarded as highly promising in pony racing circles.

Spotlight: Won this 12 months ago off the same mark and was out of the handicap last time at Galway; in fair form prior to that, notably when third in a big field at Leopardstown; could run well.

Spotlight: Returned from an absence to win a 1m Bellewstwon handicap in July, but has failed to reproduce that since.

Spotlight: Only 1-17 and hit and miss this year; however, she has form figures of 222 at this track, the latest placing in July; possible.

Spotlight: Had been running consistently in handicaps prior to a poor run at Cork; could bounce back with cheekpieces added.

Spotlight: Second reserve; inconsistent but won off a similar mark earlier this year and was second in a big field at Cork two runs back; might be better at 7f, though.

Spotlight: 0-10 but best run yet when collared late on over 1m2f at Clonmel (yielding); chance if building on that, and this sharper trip could work.

Spotlight: First reserve; lightly raced maiden who ran well on his first start after a gelding operation but has performed below market expectations since then; could come good at some point off his reduced mark.

Spotlight: Both wins came on soft ground in 2023; he'll need to find something on this season's efforts.

Spotlight: No closer than 10l in her five races, the latest when well beaten on handicap debut at Navan.

Spotlight: Insufficient promise in 7f-1m2f maidens to be seriously considered on handicap debut, unless betting suggests otherwise.

Spotlight: Unfancied and beaten a long way in four maidens, from 1m1f to 1m4f; much to prove and drawn in 18.

Spotlight: Failed to show much in maidens (6f-1m) and makes handicap debut for new yard after an absence; the tongue-tie is new.

Spotlight: Third reserve; a limited maiden under both codes and this is his first Flat start for 835 days; first-time hood.

Spotlight: Won on the AW in 2024; no worthwhile form since returning from a long absence.
