Spotlight: Picked up well from rear when narrowly denied over C&D a fortnight ago and probably would have won without hanging left in the closing stages; leniently only gone up 1lb for that and unexposed making just his sixth start; looks like the one to beat.

Spotlight: Got his head back in front on dirt here (6f) on return before a narrow defeat a fortnight ago over the same C&D; however, needs to prove he's at least as good on turf with this probably demanding a career best.

Spotlight: Bolted up in a 7f maiden on debut in 2024; no wins since but creditable second to Yotarid on UAE debut; hard to see him reversing form with Indian Springs who was 3l in front of him over C&D a fortnight ago though.

Spotlight: Off the mark for this yard with a win over this trip at Abu Dhabi on seasonal return; that form hasn't really worked out and he's 3lb higher in a tougher race but he could come on for that run at least.

Spotlight: Still a maiden and starting to look regressive; beaten roughly 5l over C&D last week and needs to step up on that.

Spotlight: Won three of his four starts last term (all on dirt) and returned with a C&D success last month, beating Righthere Rightnow by roughly 1.25l; no obvious excuses when fifth here a fortnight ago but this is just his eighth career start and there could easily be more to come.

Spotlight: Was too keen when ninth of 14 here a fortnight ago and there's a suspicion he's at his best with a bit more cut in the ground, as seen when landing the Ayr Gold Cup in September; may come on for his UAE debut and had an excuse (lost front shoes) but a few others look more likely.

Spotlight: Third in Listed company here last term over 5f before narrow defeat over C&D from 1lb higher; seems to have lost his way a little since and O'Shea prefers Welcome Dream.

Spotlight: C&D winner last term before a C&D second to Romantic Style in Listed company; came on from his return with an eyecatching C&D third but no obvious excuses when sixth here a fortnight ago (Indian Springs second); hard to see him reversing that form.

Spotlight: Group 3-placed in Britain; struggled last season but signs of a revival in his last couple of runs; lurks on a good mark but still needs to prove he's as effective at this trip.
